I felt beautiful walking down the wedding aisle in this gorgeous, romantic, custom made Laura Ashley wedding dress, & I trust you will, too! The main dress is raw silk with lace trim. There is a layer of tulle mesh lining to give the skirt volume. The inner most layer, both top & bottom is either satin or silk - very soft & lightweight, allowing for comfort & a sexy touch. The neckline is a softly cornered square shape with cap sleeves that are almost, but not quite, off-shoulder - sexy & romantic, yet not too revealing - exposing the chest and neckline, but in a way appropriate to the occasion, & leaving much to the imagination! The Basque waist with raw silk buttons adds a slimming effect & emphasizes the waist. The full skirt hovers just above the ground, for ease of movement with a flowing effect. I took photos outside for the natural light on a sunny day to reveal all the beautiful details. There are absolutely no stains, tears, or any other defects in this gown. It was professionally cleaned after I wore it in 1995, and has been stored in a sealed thick plastic bag on a cushioned satin hanger since. I am 5'3" and 110 pounds, then and now, and it fit me perfectly. The tie in the lower back allows for adjustment. Side 13" long zipper for ease of putting on and taking off. Gown is 53" shoulder to hem; 15.5" armpit to armpit across chest; 13" from neckline to lowest point of Basque waist; 13" across highest points of waist; 10" across neckline; 3" from neckline to shoulder; 3.5" inner Comes with elasticized lace garter that is 6" across unstretched to 10" across stretched. Also comes with a white mesh/tulle train that is 24" at its longest point. It has some velcro at the top so that you can attach it to whatever you wish with another strip of matching velcro.
