This dress has not been worn! We had a change in wedding plans and this dress did not fit my needs. It was custom made, but is generally a size 10, 36D, floor length for a 5'6 body. It is really beautiful and made of organic cotton/soy/spandex jersey in a natural color for the base and a light organic cotton gauze for the over skirt and sash. The bodice is doubled and features a cross-over plunging neckline that falls just below the bust.The plunging back gives the dress an extra dramatic flair.The spandex in the jersey helps ensure the bodice has a nice snug fit while also being very comfy.The inner and outer skirts are cut on the bias for ultimate drape and the extra long sash built into the dress can be worn a number of ways.The hem of the inner skirt is razor cut and left raw and the edges of the outer gauze layer and the sash are also raw giving a soft feathery look.There are two rows of stitching on the gauze that will prevent it from unraveling too much. Great for an outdoor wedding and for those who appreciate natural materials.
