The dress was custom made and created by Jeanne Smith in 1979 in Nashville, Tennessee. Jeanne is a recognized designer known for her beautiful lace dresses. There is a portrait of Princess Grace of Monaco wearing a Jeanne Smith dress in the Monaco Palace throne room. This lovely dress is reminiscent of the Victorian Age.
